Charlotte Mason

Charlotte Mason HS Method - Charlotte Mason encouraged student to develop a love of learning, She based her philosophy on the Latin word for education, "educare," meaning "to feed and nourish." Charlotte Mason 's philosophy is based on using core subjects and fine art. She practiced as an educator during the first half of last century, and wrote extensively Her philosophy of learning through real life and good quality books are still very popular among home educators and homeschoolers today. Charlotte Mason loathed what she termed "twaddle" otherwise known as"dumbed down" books and products, she replaced twaddle with classic literature, poetry and fine art. - (Charlottte Mason 1842-1923)

Waldorf-Steiner

Warldorf Method - One of the objectives are "to produce individuals who are able, in and of themselves, to impart meaning to their lives". The Waldorf Steiner method aims to educate the whole child, "head, heart and hands". and uses art as the foundation for early learning and training.

Classical Education and Learning.

Classical HS Method - Modern Classical Education is a structured learning method which is based on the medieval trivium and is fairly popular among home educators
